Founded in 2020, Folding@SiliconValley is a student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aimed to help scientists develop new therapeutics for a variety of diseases by the means of simulating protein dynamics through distributed computing system, Folding@Home.

Folding@SiliconValley is run by a team of high school students who have a passion for pursuing scientific research, and who advocate and coach middle school and high school students to contribute to medical research.
